The Guiding Plan of Jiangsu Province for Medium & Long-term Development of Waste-to-Energy Power Generation has been released. According to the Plan, Jiangsu will construct 39 waste incineration plants from 2022 to 2030. With a total investment of some RMB 28.69 billion, the project is expected to increase the total disposal capacity by 45,000t/d. By late 2030, there will be a total of 68 waste incineration plants in Jiangsu with a designed disposal capacity of 124,000t/d and Jiangsu's domestic waste incineration ratio will exceed 85 percent.
